Marty Christian, Andy Cornett and Frank Kincel started this band (inspired by the Lafayette street signs in French, this translates to Boogaloo Street) in 2009. Based in Lafayette,LA,the trio performs Blues and Boogies with an old-school South Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and Chicago feel - while inflecting it with their own brand of songwriting. Sometimes acoustic, and sometimes electric, the sounds of the Blues are always served up in style here. You can sometimes find Rue Boo backing up the legendary Carol Fran as well for "un peu de lagniappe" or a double funky good time!

Marty Christian has performed with Thomas "Big Hat" Fields in the past and is currently the guitarist with Henry Gray and the Cats. He also performs solo and has released two CDs of original material.
Andy Cornett has played with a long list of Louisiana Blues luminaries including Harry Hypolite and Lil Buck Sinegal- and is the longtime Bassist and manager for Henry Gray and the Cats.
Frank Kincel has performed with the Bluerunners and Direwood. Currently, Frank also performs with the Modern Jazz Movement and Gina Lee.
